CHALLENGE
The Council required a large-scale, multi-sport facility capable of securing planning consent, satisfying stakeholders and remaining affordable and deliverable, while aligning with long-term participation, sustainability and operational objectives.
SOLUTION
Working alongside the Council’s appointed consultants, S&C Slatter provided early professional services input to refine layouts, manage risk and confirm buildability, before leading integrated delivery as principal contractor through to operator handover.
RESULTS
The completed hub now supports schools, community groups and over 20 sports clubs, delivering resilient, high-quality facilities with operational efficiency and long-term durability for sustained community participation.

CHALLENGE
Elmbridge required a shared home for multiple clubs, meeting FA National Ground Grading Category C and UK Athletics Level 2 standards, while supporting intensive community use and future-proofing long-term asset performance.
SOLUTION
We designed and constructed 3G stadium and training pitches, a natural grass pitch, competition-grade athletics track, car parking, floodlighting and landscaping—delivering fully compliant facilities engineered for performance, safety and year-round use.

For the first time in its 120-year history, Tormead School now has a purpose-built, state-of-the-art sports ground, transforming provision for hockey, football, cricket and athletics minutes from campus.
CHALLENGE
Without a permanent home ground, students travelled offsite for sport, increasing costs and limiting participation time. The school needed a consolidated, modern facility supporting multiple sports and community use.
SOLUTION
We delivered a phased, fully integrated sports hub at Urn Field, combining artificial and natural pitches, athletics facilities, cricket provision, floodlighting, access infrastructure, and landscaping into one coherent development.
